2022 loopt ten einde, en als uitsmijter van het 30-jarig bestaan organiseert De X weer eens een echte swingavond. Want het is tijd voor een feestje! Een tropisch feestje met ‘black music’ in deze koude donkere dagen, en dus trakteren de huis-deejays Jan, John en Francesco jullie op de heetste klanken uit Afrika, Latijns-Amerika en de Cariben, en vintage funk en soul .

Verwacht een avond vol hypnotiserende gitaren, stuwende bassen, funky percussie en dito orgeltjes. Dans je in het zweet op afrobeat, cumbia, cadence, soukous, salsa, ska, kaseko, highlife, funk en soul. Van Angola tot Haïti, van Colombia tot Ethiopië, en van Suriname tot New Orleans.

LET OP: De X is jarig en trakteert, dus de eerste 30 bezoekers krijgen bij binnenkomst een gratis consumptie!

2022 is almost over, so as the icing on the cake for its 30 years jubilee, De X organises a good old dance party again. In this dark December month we will go tropical, focusing on ‘black music’. So again in-house deejays Jan, John and Francesco will spin the hottest sounds from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, next to some vintage funk and soul.

Expect an evening full of hypnotising guitars, pumping basses, funky percussion and organ sounds. Dance till you drop on afrobeat, cumbia, cadence, soukous, salsa, ska, kaseko, funk and soul. From Angola to Haïti, from Colombia to Ethiopia, and from Surinam to New Orleans.
